Meet Richard Wintory

The Next Chapter Family Law Center is headed by Richard Wintory. Richard opened his private practice in 2017 after working as a prosecutor for nearly two decades. His skill as a litigator led to his being named Arizona’s Prosecutor of the Year twice. In private practice, he now helps families and individuals move on to the next chapter of their lives (hence the firm name) by helping them resolve disputes in divorce, custody and probate cases.

Richard earned both his bachelor’s degree and his law degree from the University of Oklahoma. He worked as a prosecutor in Oklahoma before moving to Pima County in 2003. He loves the mountains, the climate and the amazing people who live here. Outside of work, he’s a real human being, who enjoys watching his son play soccer and the antics of his very large dog. He is grateful for the home he has made in Southern Arizona and the friends he has in the area.
